An Air India flight headed for London crashed near Ahmedabad airport earlier today, resulting in a serious aviation catastrophe. Shortly after takeoff, the plane crashed while carrying 242 people, including staff members.
Rescue crews, medical workers, and law enforcement agencies have been sent to the crash site as part of the authorities’ rapid emergency response. Although there is now no official confirmation of casualties or survivors, attempts are being made to evaluate the situation and offer assistance.
The aircraft, designated AI-147, was traveling to London Heathrow from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Before the plane vanished from radar, witnesses claimed to have seen smoke and flames.
